On behalf of Simatek A/S Career | a JKS company is looking for an ambitious and self-driven Regional Sales Manager who can establish new and strengthen existing relationships with customers in Denmark.
Simatek’s mission is to protect people, the environment, and production by providing clean air and minimizing product waste. We are a manufacturer of industrial emission and air pollution control solutions. We have experienced significant growth the recent years and see potential for further growth, both in terms of the current main markets and by expanding into new ones.
Your tasks and responsibilities

The position involves selling filters as standard components and projects to customers throughout Denmark. Many of our customers are based in Jutland, but we are also represented in Zealand, making it advantageous if you live centrally in the country.
If you have experience with the Scandinavian market, your role may initially include Norway. Alternatively, there is an opportunity to develop within the Scandinavian market over time.
You will be part of an international sales team with seven colleagues across France, Germany, and Denmark. Here, close collaboration and a strong sense of community are highly valued, as we work together and share knowledge to achieve the best results.
As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the expansion of our Dust Collection and Aspiration (DCA) filters which among others will involve:
Responsibilities as Regional Sales Manager
- Plans and executes sales activities to meet determined objectives within Danish markets
- Develops and retains key customer contacts to build long-term profitable relationships
- Build long lasting relationships with customers to enhance sales opportunities
- Be a part of price negotiations and review of contracts
- Participates in Fairs and Conferences within specified geographical areas
- Stay well informed about market trends in order to conduct assessments of long-term market needs
- Implement strategies and growth plans for the individual markets
- Collaborates closely with Product Managers on technical questions in sales processes as a foundation for the product offering which meets the clients’ needs in a commercially relevant manner
Who are you?
Professionally:
You are accustomed to driving sales directly with customers and should expect to spend around 3-4 days per week traveling within Denmark, with office days dedicated to preparing for your sales activities. You are results-driven and used to setting ambitious goals, with a proven track record of documenting your sales achievements and successes.
- You ideally have a technical foundation, with experience with conveying technical knowledge to customers or the desire to be challenged technically and are able to immerse yourself in the technical world
- You have a commercial mindset and are used to working in a result driven environment
- You have experience with international sales and developing new accounts from manufacturing and industrial companies
- You have good communication and presentation skills
- You are team focused, but can also work independently
- It is an advantage that you have experience with sales in the Scandinavian market
- It is an advantage, but not a requirement, to have experience with the filter industry and in industries related to Simatek business like Food & Dairy, Feed and Grain, Biomass or Recycling
You have strong communication skills and are fluent in both Danish and English. You are also proficient in IT, including MS Office and Excel. Simatek uses HubSpot as a sales management tool.
